5 Questions for GDI Infotech & InfoReady’s New Hire, Lauren Koski

GDI recently welcomed Lauren Koski to the team as our Marketing Support Specialist. She will also be assisting our sister company, InfoReady Corporation. We are so excited about this new addition to our team. Let’s get to know her a little better:

How long have you been working in your field?

I’ve worked in many fields, all of which have shaped my understanding of marketing; I’ve worked as a cook creating presentable dishes, as a teacher developing engaging material, an interpreter considering diverse viewpoints, and a salesperson utilizing marketing material and evaluating its efficacy. This will be my first officially titled marketing role, but I believe I’ve cultivated my critical perspective to continue in this field in the years to come.

What do you enjoy most about your occupation?

My favorite aspect is developing a voice to share the positive, impactful work of our team. This manifests in our social media, our presence in the community, and the way we interact with each other. I love connecting with people, in both writing and in person!

When you’re not at work, what do you like to do?

I’m always practicing yoga, while cooking vegetarian snacks and spending time outside. I’m also working on a few comic-style art pieces and short stories.

What’s your favorite lunch spot in Ann Arbor?

What are you most looking forward to in working with InfoReady & GDI Infotech?

I’m very excited to extend the presence of GDI & InfoReady in our community, in both Ann Arbor and Southeast Michigan. The Tech scene is dynamic and the talented, creative individuals that have built it are so impressive. It will be invigorating personally and professionally to connect with the energy of this IT ecosystem.
