A key element in our recruitment process is our internal database of candidates. In addition, we have specialized recruitment teams who leverage a variety of sources –including the ResourceTrax™ database and our large network – to identify potential consultants when those on staff do not completely match the current assignment.
GDI then conducts multiple levels of interviews. These include:
- A preliminary interview, where we gauge levels of interest and commitment, ensure all paperwork is in order and determine availability
- A comprehensive interview by our team recruitment experts, where we determine fit for requirements, investigate project experience, assess business and technical expertise and gauge the consultant’s soft skills. At this stage, we will also conduct background and reference checks, as necessary.
- In-depth technical interview by a panel of technical experts. Here we determine the depth and breadth of consultant’s expertise in the skills relevant to the client, explore the consultant’s specific experience in these technologies and seek information on similar environments and projects in the consultant’s professional history.
- Background checks are conducted if specifically requested by the client as well.
- Only if consultants receive a high score on all of our internal parameters do we recommend them.
Managing the teams and the engagement
Our team building process does not end with the deployment of consultants to a project, however. Leveraging our Engagement Management Process, our engagement manager remains actively involved to ensure that our consultants deliver tangible business results that solve the client's problems.
