announced that effective March 1st, Madhuri Deshpande
will be promoted to become the new President. The
current President & CEO, Bhushan Kulkarni will remain the
Chairman of the Board of GDI.
Ms. Deshpande has an
impressive career span of 25+ years in the I.T.
consulting field. Following the merger of Soft-Link
International with GDI Infotech in July 2009, Ms.
Deshpande, President of Soft-Link, joined GDI as a
Chief Operating Officer. Ms. Deshpande plans to grow
the Professional
Services and Solutions business. GDI has a stable client
base in Healthcare, Insurance, Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences,
Financial and Public sectors; and has experienced a
good growth in these sectors.
GDI also named following three distinguished
professionals as the Board Members: Grant Beard,
Partner at The Anderson Group and former CEO of
Healthmedia and TriMas Corporations; Mark Muntean,
Founder and President, Windy Hill Ventures, Inc. and
Dick Beedon, Chairman of uRefer.
Grant brings his extensive portfolio, transactional,
operational and business development management
experience to the GDI Board. Grant is a graduate of
the University of Detroit (MA Economics) and earned
both a BS and a MBA from Miami University.
Mark is a Registered Investment Advisor providing
consulting services to private clients, evaluation of
private placements, and negotiation and design of
private investments. He brings his extensive business
and technology experience to GDI.
Dick is a seasoned business leader and serial entrepreneur,
who successfully built two internet-based companies: University Netcasting and Entyre.
Dick brings his expertise in sales, marketing and growing software companies,
an extensive network, and demonstrated ability to raise funds for emerging companies.
