The client, an auto supply manufacturer, has a presence on six continents. Known for its pioneering products and high added-value services, the company strives to and succeeds at achieving a fair return on the quality and innovation that characterize its offerings.
Project Objective:
This project addressed replacement of SAS Reporting systems with Hyperion reporting. The client was using SAS for its reporting along with host of other tools and software. They sought an integrated modular suite of financial management applications with the comprehensive business intelligence (BI) capabilities for reporting and analysis offered by Hyperion. The project objective was to increase user productivity and lower the cost of ownership.

Project Details:
GDI was selected by the client for its extensive experience in managing delivery of multiple data warehousing solutions across functional areas. The engagement entailed three BI projects using the Hyperion Performance Management System: Revenue Accounting, Help Desk Management and Quality Management.
The Revenue Accounting system allowed cost accountants to monitor anomalies in shipping and receiving. The Help Desk system enabled users to identify outstanding issues. And the Manufacturing system facilitated the tracking of quality in the production environment.Key Responsibilities:
