The GDI Engagement Management Process

At GDI, we are dedicated to continuous improvement in our consulting practice. To ensure that we meet and exceed our clients’ expectations, we have developed an Engagement Management Process.
Before proposing any specific consulting services to the client, our Engagement Managers partner with the client to perform a gap analysis and to understand their needs vs. wants. Our Engagement Managers are experienced technical leaders who work with the clients not only at the beginning of the engagement to identify the ideal team of specialists to execute the work, but throughout the process to ensure that the project remains on track.
Bringing 10-20 years experience to bear on each engagement; our Engagement Managers are problem-solvers, not sales people. During a project managed through this process, you can expect the Engagement Manager to:
Perform a GAP analysis
Develop short-term fixes and long-term solutions
Bring in a team of consultants ideally suited to the effort
Define the scope of the team’s work
Set milestones
Set expectations
Schedule and conduct regular reviews with the team
Regularly review progress and issues with the client
At GDI, Engagement Management involves a continuous feedback loop where we share lessons learned with our clients. Integrating the outcomes of these into our improvement plans saves our clients money while delivering a higher quality solution.
