Salary offered: $60K + Benefits
This position will be responsible for assisting, coordinating and improving COBIT, ITIL and PMBOK aligned policies and procedures within the Information Technology (IT) Department.
Specific Duties:

Promote the benefits of IT Governance

Engage IT process owners in regularly scheduled IT governance activities

Assist in the performance of annual process maturity/capability assessments

Assist in the performance of qualitative and quantitative analysis on IT processes and develop process improvement plans and/or process roadmaps

Maintain policy and procedure documentation on a regular basis

Conduct education classes and workshops on the value of IT Governance, the tools being used, and each person’s role in the process.

Assist internal and external auditors to facilitate audit response and track corrective actions to completion

Work with process owners to regularly collect process metrics (KPIs, SLAs) and artifacts that demonstrate process compliance and process improvement, in support of performance management and audit activities

Support effective integration between various IT groups by suggesting and driving process improvement through the governance process

Educate IT process owners on effective methods to document procedures, policies, job aids, training materials, and other documentation based on approved templates and industry best practices

Maintain familiarity with frameworks, operational models, technologies, and compliance issues
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field

At least 1 year of experience within IT Governance functions (Risk Optimization, Quality, Audits etc.)

Experience with IT Service Management principles, processes and methodologies

General understanding of best practices in IT infrastructure, Networking, Operations, Information Security, Application Lifecycle Management, Project Management, and Change Management

Knowledge of ITIL Framework best practices

Knowledge of COBIT Framework best practices

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Excellent listening skills and a commitment to communicate clearly, completely and in a timely manner

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with various levels in the organization
- Prefer experience in Microsoft PowerPoint and Viso
- Prefer ITIL Certified or ISO/IEC Foundation Certification
- Prefer COBIT Foundation Certification
